Affordable Turf & Specialty Tire is seeking an individual for a fulltime warehouse job in Greenville, SC. Willing applicants will be asked to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse worker responsibilities include a strong material handling background including but not limited to loading and unloading small, medium and large shipments, putting stock away, picking & packing orders, making local deliveries and small specialty tire/wheel mounting. Monday thru Friday, no nights or weekends unless circumstances require like taking a periodic physical inventory. Our goal is to mimic what we've been able to accomplish in the South West, to be the best specialty tire provider in the South East.


Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

  • Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or shipping according to schedule.
  • Receiving and processing warehouse stock products.
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high.
  • Mounting golf cart tires and wheels for shipping.
  • Keep a clean and safe work environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain all warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service and safety standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a warehouse worker and tire mounting.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Current forklift operators certificate.
  • Current drivers license.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
