Job Summary:

We are hiring full-time individuals to load and unload packages/boxes in our fast-paced environment. Warehouse Associates are responsible for warehouse duties including: the physical loading, unloading of heavy furniture and/or sorting of packages/boxes of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, staging, wrapping, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling, etc. Associates are also responsible for operating warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Shifts may vary depending on warehouse package volume and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading packages/boxes (furniture) in our fast-paced environment
  • Sorting packages/boxes of varying sizes and weights by hand: lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, staging, wrapping, etc.
  • Assisting in verifying inventory quantity and inventory level maintenance
  • Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed
  • Operating warehouse equipment in a safe manner


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year minimum of previous warehouse experience desired
  • Experience working with furniture preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with heavy furniture
  • Reliable attendance
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility to working past quitting time to get the job done
  • Detailed record keeping
  • Previous Forklift Certification/Experience is a plus


Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push and pull wheeled carts or pallet jacks loaded with merchandise
  • Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead frequently
  • Physical Stamina: Demonstrate physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle and manipulate small parts or delicate items with precision
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when necessary to address urgent operational needs
