Thank you for your interest in our Senior Sales AccountExecutive opportunity located in Seattle.

The Senior Sales Account Executive is responsible formaximizing revenues and market share in Delta's coastal hub, Seattle, and thegreater Seattle area, focusing on premium revenue with Delta's key travelagency and/or corporate accounts. Primary responsibilities may include but notbe limited to: building, maintaining, and managing agency and/or corporaterelationships, onboarding new corporate sales agreements, contract and/orprogram negotiation and implementation, project management, account performanceevaluation, adding points of sale globally, and maintenance of agreements withkey customer interfaces. This position also requires taking the lead inexpanding partnerships with community organizations and leaders. Must reside inthe Seattle area and will report to the Sales Manager. This role is primarilyin-person from Monday to Friday.

The primary position objective includes the accountable andsuccessful portfolio performance as measured by revenue growth, fair marketshare, margin, and volume metrics.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Deepening customer relationship management, proficiency inleading contract negotiation, developing and implementing strategic andtactical initiatives to drive market share and contract performance for allassigned accounts.

  • The incumbent performs detailed analysis of data todetermine opportunities and develop unique and customized strategies to driverevenue and performance.

  • The Sr. Sales Account Executive orchestrates team sellingwith internal departments, including Corporate and Agency Sales Development,Revenue Management, Sales Operations, Market Development, and Global SalesSupport.

  • This position is responsible for delivering sales valuepropositions alongside subject matter experts for ancillary offerings such ascharter sales, private jets, sustainability, online booking tools, and Cargo.

  • The incumbent will have some responsibility for new businessdevelopment and B2C market engagement events & initiatives.

  • The position requires domestic and international travel andsome night and weekend hours.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Demonstrated track record of having managed a complex salesportfolio, as well as experience with new business development.

  • Strong ability to influence, demonstrated collaborationskills, and excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral andwritten) are required.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze various data and applyfindings to build action plans that drive revenue and facilitate achievingperformance objectives.

  • A focus on diversity and equity, including the ability tosuccessfully work with customers worldwide and be culturally aware of businessconduct protocol.

  • Strong public speaking skills, including experience inmaking product and services presentations to decision makers and group forums.

  • Must be able to manage change with resilience and displaytremendous drive and commitment.

  • Strong skills in negotiation, time management, organization,planning, and be a self-starter.

  • Must be available to work additional hours and/or days asneeded, including weekends and some holidays.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word,PowerPoint, Excel) .

  • Must be able and willing to travel to support assignedaccounts.

  • Must be able to work effectively in a virtual office withminimal supervision but also work well in a team environment.

  • Possess an overall knowledge of the Rules of the Road.

  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.

  • In-depth knowledge of functional technology platforms,including CDS/Prism, Tableau, GAIN, SFDC, and other internal Delta Systems.

  • Must possess a current passport and have the ability andflexibility to travel and represent Delta at account meetings and industryfunctions both domestically and internationally.

Pay Range: $68100.00-$183700.00 annually
