Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, experience with entering data in spreadsheets and charting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), fantastic skills with patients via phone and an energetic and positive team spirit! Prior experience in hormone replacement therapy (HRT/TRT) or GLP-1 medications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Reading patient-submitted forms and transferring height and weight information to the EMR
  • Giving patients feedback and encouragement for their wellness journey, using pre-defined responses for specific cases.
  • Looking at patient-submitted lab documents to determine whether they sent all necessary labs for evaluation
  • Informing providers of patient-reported side effects and concerns
  • Checking the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) database for patients, prior to their appointment, and reporting the results
  • Other, similar duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A quiet home office area that meets HIPAA privacy standards (separated from other people in a room with a door.)
  • A desktop or laptop computer and a high-speed internet connection that can support video conferencing.
  • Certification with *one* of the following national organizations: American Association of Medical Assistants, American Medical Certification Association, American Medical Technologists, CA Certifying Board of Medical Assistants, or MultiSkilled Medical Certification Institute.
  • Front-office and back-office experience.
  • Weekend and evening coverage required
