Expected Work Schedule<br />

Oni Studios is seeking a part-time (PT) content researcher. This PT role requires working approximately 20–25 hours per week. Typically, this is a Monday to Friday position, though some flexibility is available. The position offers a remote work environment.<br />

<br />
As a part-time content researcher, you’ll work with some of the world's largest online entertainment personalities and brands to help them better interact with and entertain diverse audiences in the millions. Primarily, you will be continuously researching and discovering trends, best practices, and algorithm changes on various media platforms, such as YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. Your expert knowledge and research on the platforms and pop media culture will help guide the Production Team’s strategy and big-picture planning. From there you’ll turn wicked brainstorms into actionable plans with deliverables for those on the Content Research Team. You'll find great success in this role thanks to your strong organizational skills, big-brain strategic thinking, and initiative to continuously improve the team through its processes and documentation. Your contribution in this role is crucial to the success of Oni and its clients as you provide invaluable insight into our potential next steps.<br />

Responsibilities:<br />
• Source and compile various media/clips for Oni Studios clients’ YT and social media platforms.<br />
• Curate media content for the production of YouTube videos.<br />
• Download and organize footage to assist video editors.<br />
• Assist producers and collaborate with content researchers on ideation for assigned channels.<br />
• Ad hoc tasks like data entry for Video Production department spreadsheets<br />
• Assisting Content Research Manager in administrative tasks when needed<br />
• Edit content for Oni Studios clients’ channels, primarily short-form content<br />
• Assist in the editing process by completing ancillary passes like Subtitling.<br />
<br />
Qualifications:<br />
• High-school diploma or equivalent<br />
• Entry-level role, preferably 1-2 years of work experience in content space<br />
• Knowledge of YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok - from the platform’s algorithms to audience preferences and interests. Especially within the gaming space.<br />
• Strong understanding and application of MS Office (Word, Excel, Etc.), G-Suite, and project management applications (Asana, Monday, and Trello).<br />
• (Preferred) Proven experience providing administrative support to a team (coordination, scheduling, document creation, etc).<br />
• (Preferred) Experience supporting a live stream or YouTube channel in an official capacity.<br />
• (Preferred) Professional or personal experience working with or as an influencer, streamer, or YouTuber.<br />
• (Preferred) Experience in video editing for YouTube, TikTok, and social media platforms in the video game and/or esports realm.<br />

Pay Transparency Statement<br />
<br />
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $18-21 per hour. If hired at Oni Studios, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the above range is the complete base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.</p>
